Idaho High School Basketball - Lewiston holds off Lakeland

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Lewiston Bengals basketball team scored a close 48-47 triumph over the Lakeland Hawks.
The Bengals (13-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sandpoint (Sandpoint, ID). The Bulldogs go into the 5A Southern Idaho contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Sandpoint nipped Lakeland (Rathdrum, ID), 51-49, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks confront the Moscow Bears (Moscow, ID) in a 5A Southern Idaho contest, on Saturday, January 25. Lakeland will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Bears go into the contest with a 6-8 record after their 74-35 non-league loss to Bonners Ferry (Bonners Ferry, ID).
