In Friday's league contest, the host Lewiston Bengals basketball team scored a good 71-54 triumph over the Lakeland Hawks.
The Bengals (15-2) will now prepare for their contest against Moscow (Moscow, ID). The Bears go into the 5A Southern Idaho contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Moscow was toppled by Lapwai (Lapwai, ID), 54-52, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks confront the Post Falls Trojans (Post Falls, ID) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Lakeland will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 13-6 record after their 58-56 league loss to Lake City (Coeur d'Alene, ID).
