In Tuesday's league test, the South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL) basketball squad trounced the host Pickens Academy Pirates (Carrollton, AL), by a score of 77-19.
Next, the Stallions encounter the Sulligent Blue Devils (Sulligent, AL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 23. South Lamar will attempt to improve on its 14-12 season record. The Blue Devils come into the test with a 12-6 record after their 53-41 non-league loss to Fayette County (Fayette, AL).
The Pirates (0-9) will now prepare for their test against Northside (Northport, AL). The Rams come into the non-league test with a 17-6 record. In their last test, Northside bounced John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL), 70-67, in a league test.
