Alabama High School Basketball - South Lamar triumphant over Pickens Academy

The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL) and the visiting Pickens Academy Pirates (Carrollton, AL), observed South Lamar's basketball team overwhelm Pickens Academy by a score of 72-19.
The Stallions (17-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Pickens County (Reform, AL). The Tornadoes come into the non-league challenge with a 6-11 record. In their last challenge, Pickens County trounced Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL), 52-50, in a non-league challenge.
