Sundown Roughnecks (Sundown, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Smyer Bobcats (Smyer, TX), 50-46 in a league match.

With the victory, Sundown upgrades its record to 5-12 on the year. The Roughnecks host Plains (Plains, TX) to face the Cowboys in a 2A Region I District 5 match on Friday, January 24. The Cowboys enter the match with a record of 21-2. Plains won 70-36 in their recent league match against Smyer (Smyer, TX)
