In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Ballard Bombers basketball team scored a good 37-18 win over the Boone Toreadors.
The Bombers (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against North Polk (Alleman, IA). The Comets come into the Raccoon River contest with a 14-0 record. In their last contest, North Polk defeated Gilbert (Gilbert, IA), 62-47, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Toreadors battle the Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA) in a Raccoon River contest, on Friday, January 24. Boone will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 7-5 record after their 62-47 league loss to North Polk (Alleman, IA).
