The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA) and the visiting Boone Toreadors (Boone, IA), observed Ballard's basketball team overcome Boone by a margin of 39-23.

The Bombers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Polk (Alleman, IA). The Comets come into the Raccoon River challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, North Polk defeated Gilbert (Gilbert, IA), 69-55, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Toreadors battle the Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA) in a Raccoon River challenge, on Friday, December 13. Boone will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 69-55 league loss to North Polk (Alleman, IA).
