The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hazen Wildcats (Hardwick, VT) and the visiting Winooski Spartans (Winooski, VT), observed Hazen's basketball team overwhelm Winooski by a score of 64-33.

The Wildcats (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Danville (Danville, VT). The Bears come into the Mountain challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Danville was routed by Richford (Richford, VT), 45-27, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Blue Mountain Bucks (Wells River, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 27. Winooski will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
