In Thursday's non-league test, the Hazen Wildcats (Hardwick, VT) basketball squad trounced the host Winooski Spartans (Winooski, VT), by a score of 65-34.
Next, the Wildcats encounter the Richford Falcons (Richford, VT) in a Mountain test, on Saturday, March 1. Hazen will attempt to improve on its 20-2 season record.
The Spartans (12-9) will now prepare for their test against Twinfield (Plainfield, VT). The Trojans come into the non-league test with a 10-10 record. In their last test, Twinfield was routed by Williamstown (Williamstown, VT), 36-30, in a non-league test.
