The Ridgeway Roadrunners were victorious over the visiting Melrose Golden Wildcats basketball squad by a final score of 40-22 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Roadrunners face the Power Center Academy Knights (Memphis, TN) in a 3A District 16 outing, on Friday, January 24. Ridgeway will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 2-10 record after their 47-34 league loss to Melrose (Memphis, TN).

The Golden Wildcats (4-7) will now prepare for their outing against Hamilton (Memphis, TN). The Wildcats enter the 3A District 16 outing with a 1-11 record. In their last outing, Hamilton was dropped by Kirby (Memphis, TN), 50-22, in a league outing.
