The Walnut Mustangs basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Claremont Wolfpack to 52 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Ayala for a game on Thursday, January 23. Walnut will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 42-21 league loss to Glendora (Glendora, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-13.

With the loss, Claremont falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Wolfpack travel to Bonita (La Verne, CA) to play the Bearcats in a game on Thursday, January 23. The Bearcats go into the game with a record of 8-2. Bonita lost 38-31 in their recent league game against Diamond Bar (Diamond Bar, CA)
