The Walnut Mustangs basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Claremont Wolfpack to 25 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ayala for a game on Tuesday, January 7.

With the loss, Claremont falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Wolfpack travel to Charter Oak (Covina, CA) to confront the Chargers in a non-league game on Monday, December 23. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 0-0.
