With the victory, South Caldwell advances its record to 7-7 on the year. The Spartans travel to Hibriten (Lenoir, NC) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, January 24. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 3-10. Hibriten lost 59-50 in their recent league match against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC)

The Huskies now own a 0-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Watauga for a non-league match on Friday, January 24. Ashe County will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 48-42 non-league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 9-2.
