Georgia High School Basketball - Johnson nips West Hall

Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA), 30-25 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Johnson upgrades its record to 3-16 on the campaign. The Knights host Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA) to play the Warriors in a AAAAA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 25. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 11-8. Walnut Grove lost 57-33 in their recent league bout against Loganville (Loganville, GA)
Next up, the Spartans play the East Forsyth Broncos (Gainesville, GA) in a AAA Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 25. West Hall will attempt to upgrade on its 0-20 season record. The Broncos come into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 68-40 non-league win over Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA).
