The Johnson Knights routed the visiting West Hall Spartans basketball team by a final score of 47-22 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Knights face the Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA) in a AAAAA Region 8 game, on Friday, December 10. Johnson will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Gladiators enter the game with a 1-4 record after their 45-28 non-league win over Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA).
With the defeat, West Hall moves to 0-6 on the year. The Spartans travel to Gilmer (Ellijay, GA) to face the Bobcats in a AAA Region 7 game on Tuesday, December 7. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 2-3. Gilmer lost 55-49 in their recent non-league game against Pickens (Jasper, GA)
