The Wolcott RVT Wildcats basketball team (Torrington, CT), was nudged 63-58 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Abbott RVT Wolverines (Danbury, CT)
The Wolverines now possess a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bullard-Havens for a Connecticut Technical - West battle on Tuesday, January 23. Abbott RVT will battle a Tigers team coming off a 46-45 non-league loss to Harding (Bridgeport, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 3-8.
The Wildcats (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Kaynor Tech (Waterbury, CT). The Panthers come into the Connecticut Technical - West battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Kaynor Tech edged O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT), 61-41, in a non-league battle.
