Abbott RVT Wolverines (Danbury, CT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Wolcott RVT Wildcats (Torrington, CT), 57-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Abbott RVT upgrades its record to 5-12 on the season. The Wolverines host Guilford (Guilford, CT) to clash with the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 7-9.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Canton Warriors (Canton, CT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Wolcott RVT will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-15 record after their 54-46 league loss to Granby Memorial (Granby, CT).
