Michigan High School Basketball - Beal City crushes Pine River Area

January 22, 2024: Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858

Beal City Aggies (Mt. Pleasant, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pine River Area Bucks (Leroy, MI), 67-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Beal City upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Aggies host Northern Michigan Christian (McBain, MI) to play the Comets in a Highland bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Northern Michigan Christian won 52-34 in their recent non-league bout against St. Mary (Lake Leelanau, MI)

Next up, the Bucks play the Houghton Lake Bobcats (Houghton Lake, MI) in a Highland bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Pine River Area will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 59-55 league win over Evart (Evart, MI).
