New Garden Friends Bears (Greensboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cresset Christian Academy Eagles (Durham, NC), 69-24 in a league bout.

With the win, New Garden Friends upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Bears travel to Crossroads Christian (Henderson, NC) to clash with the Colts in a NCISAA Mid-Carolina bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Crossroads Christian won 86-64 in their recent league bout against Lee Christian (Sanford, NC)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Lee Christian Falcons (Sanford, NC) in a NCISAA Mid-Carolina bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Cresset Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 67-56 non-league win over Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC).
