Donegal Indians (Mt. Joy, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers (Lampeter, PA), 63-61 in a league bout.

With the win, Donegal upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Indians travel to Octorara Area (Atglen, PA) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 14-2. Octorara Area won 67-54 in their recent non-league bout against Lancaster Catholic (Lancaster, PA)

Next up, the Pioneers play the Lancaster Catholic Crusaders (Lancaster, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Lampeter-Strasburg will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 67-54 non-league loss to Octorara Area (Atglen, PA).
