In Monday's league outing, the Perrydale Pirates (Amity, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Lewis Academy Watchmen (Newberg, OR), by a count of 67-29.

The Pirates (13-6) will now prepare for their outing against Willamette Valley Christian (Brooks, OR). The Warriors go into the 1A Casco outing with a 15-5 record. In their last outing, Willamette Valley Christian smashed Oregon School for the Deaf (Salem, OR), 65-14, in a league outing.

The Watchmen now hold a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Livingstone Adventist Academy for a 1A Casco outing on Wednesday, January 24. Lewis Academy will clash with a squad coming off a 62-30 league loss to Falls City/Kings Valley Charter (Falls City, OR). The record now stands at 2-6.
