Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Nebo Crossing Academy Bulldogs (Nebo, NC), 80-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Veritas Christian Academy upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host United Faith Christian Academy (Charlotte, NC) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 17-6. United Faith Christian Academy won 68-62 in their recent non-league bout against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Challenger Firebirds (Hickory, NC) in a Western Piedmont bout, on Thursday, January 25. Nebo Crossing Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Firebirds come into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 55-46 league loss to Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy (Asheville, NC).
