The Wall Township Crimson Knights (Wall, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Neptune Scarlet Fliers (Neptune, NJ), 40-34 in Monday's non-league test.
The Crimson Knights (7-7) will now prepare for their test against St. Rose (Belmar, NJ). The Purple Roses go into the non-league test with a 16-1 record. In their last test, St. Rose got by Manasquan (Manasquan, NJ), 63-44, in a league test.
The Scarlet Fliers now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Ranney for a Shore A - Central test on Wednesday, January 24. Neptune will encounter a squad coming off a 79-50 non-league win over Raritan (Hazlet, NJ). The record now stands at 6-8.
