The New Utrecht Utes basketball team scored 82 points and held the host Telecommunication Arts Tech Yellowjackets to 41 in the Utes league triumph on Monday.

The Utes now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madison for a PSAL AAA Brooklyn I contest on Wednesday, January 31. New Utrecht will battle a Golden Knights team coming off a 103-55 league win over Dewey (Brooklyn, NY). The Golden Knights record now stands at 11-1.

The Yellowjackets (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Roosevelt (Brooklyn, NY). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Roosevelt was routed by Lafayette (Brooklyn, NY), 57-47, in a league contest.
