Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Carson Senators (Carson City, NV), 64-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Spanish Springs upgrades its record to 18-1 on the season. The Cougars host Galena (Reno, NV) to play the Grizzlies in a bout on Saturday, January 27. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 8-8.

Next up, the Senators play the Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) in a bout, on Thursday, January 25. Carson will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 78-43 league win over Douglas (Minden, NV).
