Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Carson Senators (Carson City, NV), 55-18 in a league bout.

With the victory, Spanish Springs upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Galena (Reno, NV) to play the Grizzlies in a bout on Thursday, December 21. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Galena lost 57-48 in their recent non-league bout against McQueen (Reno, NV)

Next up, the Senators play the Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) in a bout, on Saturday, December 16. Carson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 52-51 league loss to Douglas (Minden, NV).
