Lincoln Lutheran Warriors (Lincoln, NE) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE), 46-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lincoln Lutheran upgrades its record to 2-14 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Grand Island Central Catholic (Grand Island, NE) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 13-1. Grand Island Central Catholic won 50-39 in their recent league bout against Adams Central (Hastings, NE)

Next up, the Monarchs play the Lakeview Vikings (Columbus, NE) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Aquinas will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record.
