The Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Campbell County Camels (Alexandria, KY), 60-48 in Monday's non-league test.

The Bluebirds (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Newport (Newport, KY). The Wildcats go into the District 36 test with a 3-14 record. In their last test, Newport went down by Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY), 69-35, in a league test.

The Camels now own a 13-6 record. They play next when they host Scott for a District 37 test on Friday, January 26. Campbell County will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 52-18 non-league win over Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 14-5.
