Campbell County Camels (Alexandria, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY), 42-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Campbell County upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Camels host Martin County (Inez, KY) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Martin County won 71-26 in their recent non-league bout against Newport (Newport, KY)

Next up, the Bluebirds clash with the Augusta Panthers (Augusta, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Highlands will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 91-24 league win over St. Patrick (Maysville, KY).
