The New Salem Holsteins basketball team (New Salem, ND), dropped 46-37 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Flasher Bulldogs (Flasher, ND)
The Bulldogs now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richardton-Taylor for a B District 5 battle on Tuesday, January 23. Flasher will battle a Raiders team coming off a 78-21 non-league win over McIntosh (McIntosh, SD). The Raiders record now stands at 8-8.
The Holsteins (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Washburn (Washburn, ND). The Cardinals come into the B District 6 battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Washburn prevailed over New Rockford-Sheyenne (New Rockford, ND), 46-44, in a non-league battle.
