The New Salem Holsteins tipped the visiting Flasher Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 46-42 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Holsteins face the Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] Cougars (Turtle Lake, ND) in a B District 6 game, on Thursday, January 18. New Salem will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record.

With the defeat, Flasher moves to 1-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Standing Rock (Fort Yates, ND) to face the Warriors in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 12. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 2-2. Standing Rock won 47-38 in their recent non-league game against Glen Ullin/Hebron (Glen Ullin, ND)
