Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Freedom Area trounces Shenango

The Freedom Area Bulldogs basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting Shenango Wildcats to 22 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Monday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sewickley Academy for a WPIAL 2A 1 contest on Thursday, January 25. Freedom Area will battle a team coming off a 57-27 league loss to Rochester (Rochester, PA). The record now stands at 4-9.
The Wildcats (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside (Ellwood City, PA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Riverside was routed by Union Area (New Castle, PA), 57-17, in a non-league contest.
