Freedom Area Bulldogs (Freedom, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Shenango Wildcats (New Castle, PA), 58-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Freedom Area upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Moon Area (Moon Township, PA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Moon Area lost 63-44 in their recent non-league bout against Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Ellwood City Wolverine (Ellwood City, PA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Shenango will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
