The Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY) basketball nipped the visiting Harlan Green Dragons (Harlan, KY), 66-60 in Monday's league test.
The Black Bears (10-9) will now prepare for their test against Bell County (Pineville, KY). The Bobcats go into the District 52 test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Bell County was tipped by Boyd County (Ashland, KY), 71-48, in a non-league test.
The Green Dragons now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Knox Central for a non-league test on Friday, January 26. Harlan will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 65-50 non-league win over Jackson County (McKee, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 10-8.
