In Monday's league outing, the William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA) basketball squad edged the host Harrisonburg Blue Streaks (Harrisonburg, VA), by a margin of 44-41.
The Dragons (7-8) will now prepare for their outing against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 9-5 record. In their last outing, Monticello held off Goochland (Goochland, VA), 47-13, in a league outing.
The Blue Streaks now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Rockbridge County for a Valley outing on Tuesday, January 23. Harrisonburg will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 64-23 league loss to Broadway (Broadway, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-15.
