The McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) basketball crushed the host Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ), 87-17 in Monday's league test.

The Chargers (15-6) will now prepare for their test against Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, Cactus Shadows walloped Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ), 58-30, in a league test.

The Knights now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a 5A Metro test on Wednesday, January 24. Metro Tech will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 46-40 league win over North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ). The Bobcats record now stands at 8-13.
