The Harrisonburg Blue Streaks basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting William Monroe Dragons to 29 in the Blue Streaks non-league triumph on Monday.
The Blue Streaks now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockbridge County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Harrisonburg will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 57-28 non-league loss to Broadway (Broadway, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-12.
The Dragons (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Monticello ran past Goochland (Goochland, VA), 35-16, in a non-league contest.
