Next, the Cougars encounter the Leuzinger Olympians (Lawndale, CA) in a Ocean test, on Friday, January 24. Hawthorne will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Olympians come into the test with a 18-6 record after their 66-59 league loss to Inglewood (Inglewood, CA).

The Apaches (1-16) will now prepare for their test against Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA). The Normans come into the Ocean test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, Beverly Hills was routed by Culver City (Culver City, CA), 75-62, in a non-league test.
