In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls (Anderson, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 challenge, on Friday, January 24. New Waverly will attempt to improve on its 6-14 season record. The Fighting Owls come into the challenge with a 14-9 record after their 81-65 league loss to Onalaska (Onalaska, TX).
