Texas High School Basketball - Vandegrift holds off Vista Ridge

The Vandegrift Vipers basketball team scored 32 points and limited the host Vista Ridge Rangers to 30 in the Vipers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Vipers now possess a 19-9 record. They play next when they host McNeil for a 6A Region IV District 25 game on Friday, January 24. Vandegrift will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 94-48 league loss to Stony Point (Round Rock, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 5-23.

With the loss, Vista Ridge falls to 13-15 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to McNeil (Austin, TX) to confront the Mavericks in a 6A Region IV District 25 game on Tuesday, January 28.
