The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX) and the visiting Vista Ridge Rangers (Cedar Park, TX), observed Vandegrift's basketball team edge Vista Ridge by a score of 49-48.

The Vipers (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against McNeil (Austin, TX). The Mavericks come into the 6A Region IV District 25 challenge with a 4-12 record. In their last challenge, McNeil was tipped by Stony Point (Round Rock, TX), 100-39, in a league challenge.
