Arizona High School Basketball - Valley Vista overwhelms West Point

January 22, 2025: Surprise, AZ 85374

The Valley Vista Monsoon basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting West Point Dragons to 6 in the Monsoon league triumph on Wednesday.

The Monsoon now have a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Millennium for a non-league game on Friday, January 24. Valley Vista will confront a Tigers team coming off a 52-49 league loss to Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ). The Tigers record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, West Point falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ) to confront the Stallions in a 6A West Valley game on Friday, January 24. The Stallions go into the game with a record of 8-5. Shadow Ridge lost 57-15 in their recent non-league game against Chandler (Chandler, AZ)
