Arizona High School Basketball - Valley Vista triumphant over West Point

February 7, 2025: Avondale, AZ 85392

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ) and the host West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ), observed Valley Vista's basketball team overwhelm West Point by a score of 70-24.

The Monsoon (16-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ). The Wolverines come into the 6A West Valley challenge with a 5-14 record. In their last challenge, Tolleson was routed by Apollo (Glendale, AZ), 56-20, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Dragons battle the Browne Bruins (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. West Point will attempt to improve on its 9-13 season record.
