The Autauga Academy Generals (Prattville, AL) basketball nipped the host Monroe Academy Volunteers (Monroeville, AL), 54-47 in Monday's non-league test.

The Generals (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Bessemer Academy (Bessemer, AL). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, Bessemer Academy got by Clarke Prep (Grove Hill, AL), 60-28, in a league test.

The Volunteers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bessemer Academy for a AISA AAA Region 2 test on Friday, January 27.
