The Goretti Gael (Hagerstown, MD) basketball knocked off the visiting St. Frances Academy Panthers (Baltimore, MD), 85-77 in Monday's league test.
The Gael (20-3) will now prepare for their test against Frederick (Frederick, MD). The Cadets go into the non-league test with a 15-0 record. In their last test, Frederick notched a victory over North Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD), 68-64, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 11-8 record. They play next when they host McDonogh for a MIAA A - Black outing on Wednesday, January 25. St. Frances Academy will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 57-51 non-league loss to Gilman (Baltimore, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 13-8.
