The Lake Havasu Knights basketball team (Lake Havasu City, AZ), was overwhelmed 76-52 in Monday's league battle with the host La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ)

The Fighting Lobos now possess a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Verrado for a 5A Desert West battle on Thursday, January 26. La Joya Community will battle a Vipers team coming off a 61-38 league loss to Canyon View (Waddell, AZ). The Vipers record now stands at 11-10.

The Knights (1-18) will now prepare for their battle against Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ). The Scorpions come into the 5A Desert West battle with a 9-13 record. In their last battle, Desert Edge was overwhelmed by Millennium (Goodyear, AZ), 73-40, in a league battle.
