Arizona High School Basketball - Lake Havasu knocked off by La Joya Community

The La Joya Community Fighting Lobos basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Lake Havasu Knights to 44 in the Fighting Lobos league triumph on Thursday.

The Fighting Lobos now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canyon View for a 5A Desert West contest on Tuesday, December 20.

The Knights (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Canyon View (Waddell, AZ). The Jaguars enter the 5A Desert West contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Canyon View ran past Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ), 70-57, in a league contest.
