The Smith County Owls basketball team (Carthage, TN), dropped 77-69 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Livingston Academy Wildcats (Livingston, TN)
The Wildcats now possess a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Macon County for a 3A District 7 battle on Tuesday, January 24. Livingston Academy will confront a Tigers team coming off a 56-43 league loss to Cumberland County (Crossville, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 3-18.
The Owls (7-13) will now prepare for their battle against Cannon County (Woodbury, TN). The Lions come into the 2A District 6 battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, Cannon County beat Community (Unionville, TN), 53-42, in a non-league battle.
