The Smith County Owls basketball team (Carthage, TN), dropped 60-50 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Livingston Academy Wildcats (Livingston, TN)
The Wildcats now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Macon County for a 3A District 7 battle on Friday, December 16. Livingston Academy will battle a Tigers team coming off a 45-38 non-league loss to Clay County (Celina, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 2-7.
The Owls (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Jackson County (Gainesboro, TN). The Blue Devils come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Jackson County prevailed over Watertown (Watertown, TN), 41-31, in a non-league battle.
