Frederick Douglass Broncos (Lexington, KY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY), 72-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Frederick Douglass upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Broncos travel to Notre Dame Academy (Park Hills, KY) to play the Pandas in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Pandas go into the bout with a record of 11-6.

Next up, the Generals play the Lexington Christian Eagles (Lexington, KY) in a District 43 bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Lafayette will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record.
